Next Lebanon Israel War?

Feb 12- Lebanese Pres. Michel Aoun: Lebanon-based group Hezbollah, is integral part of the country’s government… “As long as Israel continues to occupy lands… we feel the need to have the resistance army as a complement to the Lebanese army's actions”

March 10- Israel's Minister Naftali Bennett: in the ‘next Lebanon War Must Hit Civilians Where It Hurts’.

Feb 2016- Hassan Nasrallah: “Israel knows Hezbollah has missiles and rockets that can strike anywhere in its territory”

The 2006 Israeli invasion of Lebanon was very popular in Israel’s far-right, though Israel was globally criticized for the Civilian Toll. In the next war Israel is more adamant to attack civilians:

Bennett says “The Lebanese institutions, its infrastructure, airport, power stations, traffic junctions, Lebanese Army bases – they should all be legitimate targets if a war breaks out… If Hezbollah fires missiles at the Israeli home front, this will mean sending Lebanon back to the Middle Ages”

The Syrian War has hardened Hezbollah who fights on Syrian battlefields on behalf of Assad. The Iranian & Russian have trained & armed them. According to Israel’s Defense Minister Lieberman, the Lebanese army is now “a subsidiary unit of Hezbollah”

Question is who wants the War? PLO is apparently pacified in Palestine. Iran’s gains in Iraq, the Nuclear Deal & Assad’s strengthening in Syria all add up to the strengthening of Hezbollah, which represents a relatively successful Shia resistance against Israel

With Trump’s election/ his pledge to fully support Israel & Netanyahu, whom JKerry described as “most right-wing Israel administration in Israel’s history” & Israel’s military build-up on the north – seems Israel not wanting to waste a moment to assert its brute barbaric force on Lebanon – to once again celebrate its fascist dominance in the region
