Al-Shabab Terrorists Attack Somalia Again

Somalia has been once again hit by a terrorist attack in capital Mogadishu – at least 20 have been killed as a lorry packed with explosives detonated near the entrance of the Safari Hotel

Mogadishu is a regular target for the al-Qaeda linked al-Shabab group, which is at wars with the government. On Sept. 11, Al-Shabab attacked a Somali military base and police station near the border with Kenya, killing 30 soldiers

Al-Shabab, an affiliate of Al Qaeda has been active in Somalia since 2006.This was when the popular ICU government in Mogadishu was eliminated by a joint mission by US 5th Fleet & Ethiopian Forces in 2006 – after which any hope for a united Somalia has ended

Since 2006 Al Shabab has killed hundreds in terror attacks in Somalia. US policy & Al-Shabab practically isolated Somaliland, Puntland, Jubbaland and Southwestern-Somalia making 4 states inside one

Remember the Feb. 2017 Elections, when 9 out of 24 presidential candidates were US-passport holders. There was no Public Voting & election was held in an airport hangar at Aden Adde International Airport, Mogadishu

The winning candidate Mohamed Farmaajo, based in US since 1988, was flown into Mogadishu from New York on the morning of the election, into the heavily guarded airplane hangar. This is how imported leaders run a country

Somalia is another example of heavy US intervention and a destroyed nation
