Israel Kill-Ready as Palestinians begin Protest Today
Today is Palestinian Land Day, commemorating the killing of six unarmed Arab protesters in Israel in 1976. Palestinians have organized huge protest in which Palestinian refugees from across border will enter Palestine to join the protests
The protest may become weeks long, joining the Nakba Day Protest that comes in mid-May. In 1948, on that day over 700,000 Palestinians were expelled from their land by Israeli forces
Thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip also plan to march toward the border fence with Israel to mark Land Day
The Israeli military has deployed more than 100 snipers, with permission to fire, on the Gaza border, before a planned mass Palestinian demonstration near Gaza's border with Israel, the Israeli top general
If lives are in jeopardy, there is permission to open fire,” Lieutenant-General Gadi Eizenkot, "We won't allow mass infiltration into Israel and to damage the fence’, "The instructions are to use a lot of force"
Several owners of bus companies had received the phone calls from Israelis in the past few days warning them not to assist in the organization of the protests
On Wednesday, Former Brigadier General Itay Virov warned of new confrontation saying, “Each passing day gets us farther away from the previous campaign, but closer to the next one. It’s only a matter of time”, ‘…Gaza not yet rehabilitated from the last campaign will suffer our wrath in the next one’
Situation has aggravated since Trump’s announcement of Jerusalem as capital of Israel, and his appointment of hard-line anti-Palestine at high offices – like John Bolton, recently appointed as US national security adviser. Bolton said in 2014, ‘Palestine’ would disappear, since Amman would obviously be the seat of government for an enlarged Jordan”
Are we looking at Palestinian bloodshed in coming days? May God protect the Palestinians from the relentless wrath of the Israeli Exploiters
